Come to our fully equipped studio to work on your project with a like-minded small group of people. Our skilled teacher will lend you all the support and guide you through the easiest way to execute. You bring your projects, and we'll take care of the rest. All equipment, some materials, and haberdasheries are waiting for you for free.

For students who would prefer private classes or who would like to complete a specific project. Private classes can be booked in at a time to suit you and are booked in 2hr sessions. No prior sewing experience needed. 1 Hour class. DIY fashion with our "Sew Your Own Scrunchie" class! This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike, offering a fun and accessible introduction to the art of sewing. In this class, you'll learn : *The basics sewing & machine operation. *Practice basic sewing on machine *Fabric selection, *The step-by-step process to create your very own stylish scrunchie *Helpful tips and tricks to ensure your scrunchie is not only fashionable but also uniquely yours. Materials required: *Upcycle fabric will be provided or bring your choice of fabric *Threads & needles or sewing machine ( You can use our studio facilities or bring your own) *Elastic *scissor *Bodkin Needle puller

In this workshop you will come away with: An in depth knowledge of sewing with stretch fabrics and elastics A step by step guide to sewing underwear Knowledge of how to measure yourself correctly A pattern of whatever shape knickers you choose Learn the basics of using an overlocker An insight into the day to day runnings of El Bras Guide to DIY underwear and up-cycling to use for further projects A pair (or two depending on how speedy you are!) of your own handmade knickers All materials will be provided for you on the day but if you would like to up cycle your own materials then please feel free to bring them along. Please let us know your general size ahead of the workshop to ensure we have the correct sized pattern easy to hand. A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this workshop. If you are a complete beginner I offer an introduction to sewing class for an added fee - send me an email to workout an appropriate time. This is the perfect class to come alone or with others. A hen-do or a birthday treat? Or just expanding your making skills. This is an intimate workshop with only 4 spaces so book asap to avoid disappointment! Tea, coffee and biccies will be provided :) Our studio is in Woolwich, South East London. SET, Riverside, SE18 6BU This workshop is open to people of all sizes, gender, sexualities and disabilities (the space is wheelchair accessible - please email with any specific requirements). From threading the machine to making your first garment - I will happily personalise the experience to suit what you want to make. We will go over all the basics to get you making your own clothes and end up with a garment that you can wear! This class is three hours with seamstress Gabby Young. There is something incredibly gratifying about sewing your own clothes, and Gabby is excited to be able to introduce you to the basic techniques of dressmaking. With these skills, you will be able to make clothes for yourself, wherever you are!
