Emily, the instructor for terrarium master class was absolutely brilliant. She had so much knowledge about terrariums and how they came to exist, as well as a bit about herself, her love of plants and how she got into building terrariums. Everything was set up and laid out so clearly and neatly, she walked us through every step whilst also allowing us to try new things and explore. Thank you Emily for this great experience! Highly recommend :)

We had a great time building our own terraniums at this workshop! The teacher is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things terranium and has lots of tips about terranium and plant care. Step by step instructions with modelling, with room for creativity and personal touches. Would highly recommend! I went with my mum and we both had a great time.

My mum and I loved the workshop. The teacher was knowledgeable, passionate about terraniums and guided us through the process step by step. We enjoyed an evening making the terraniums in a cosy Christmassy café with the smell of fresh brownies being baked all evening! We were provided with everything we needed to make unique terraniums. We love our finished products and are enjoying our beautiful terraniums! Highly recommended workshop.

I went with my partner and a friend to celebrate a birthday and have a treat after exams, and had the best time! Emily was so lovely and helpful and was obviously so knowledgeable about her work. Our terrariums turned out so well. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone wanting to get started with terrariums and I’ve now started hoarding jars so I can make more!

A super cool class! The venue (I attended the class at Greenka plant shop in Ealing) was such was a perfect setting for the class. It felt really welcoming, and making a terrarium while being surrounded by beautiful plants was a lovely and very calming experience.
In the class itself Emily did a great job of explaining how terrariums work and the practical method of creating them. All of the steps were clearly demonstrated and explained, and tools and materials were provided as well as a selection of lovely plants. As I’d chosen the largest size of vessel, that meant I got a total of 5 individual plants of various types, which I thought was perfect. I particularly enjoyed putting the finishing touches to my creation with moss and some decorative stones. I had a great time and came away having made a beautiful terrarium!

It was one of the most pleasant evenings spent in a great atmosphere with Emilly and her "students" creating a terrarium with beautiful plants. So much new information about creating your own little garden enclosed in glass. A great time with creative people is a great idea for a Sunday evening. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

Learning how to build terrariums was so much fun and informative! Love the different tips and tricks and customizations that can be done. I got lost on the way and was late, but Emily quickly helped out, and made sure I wouldn’t get too far behind if I was too late. Venue was lovely and well lit, definitely worth it and would do again!

Emily brought the wold of terrariums to life with this Masterclass. She was super friendly and knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. We came away from the class with our own 2L terrarium with detailed aftercare instructions. I look forward to trying out the desert terrarium class! Make sure to bring a bag to help you take your terrarium home - a wine bag would be perfect!

Super friendly and insightful. Brilliant idea for a team event/work or even throw in some fizz and a hen party or birthday event idea. Branded bags after the workshop would be a brilliant idea too as it means you can get your terranium home safely. Fantastic birthday present idea too!

I am a plant novice but was able to create a really beautiful piece of ‘living’ artwork. Emily was very patient with LOTS of knowledge and enthusiasm - she gave just the right amount of help so that you felt accomplished too. A great way to wile away two hours.

Two hours we’ll spent. Our tutor was very knowledgeable and the instructions and modelling pitched at the right level to enable success with a terrarium to take home. Grouping size good to have personalised help and others to chat to and get to know. Would recommend the workshop as a way to try something new.

A small workshop led by Emily. I already have a terrarium but learnt so much more so will be redoing mine! A nice atmosphere with friendly people. 2 hours was just right. A quirky very interesting venue - easy to reach by public transport with lots of cafes/pubs in the vicinity.

I did this class in July 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had decided to make the terrarium as a birthday gift for a friend and was delighted with my efforts; my friend loved it too! Our tutor was informative and funny and made for an afternoon that went far too quickly. Highly, highly recommended :-)

I have attended the terrarium workshop with Glass Gardens London in February before all this crazy time started as my wife bought me a ticket.
It was an amazing experience - Emily is truly passionate about her work, she has good knowledge about plants and terrariums. I have spent great time and would recommend to anyone who wants to get crafty & learn new skills in mini gardening!

It was such a lovely class with an enthusiastic teacher who clearly loves what she does. She was friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable and confident regarding the class. The venue was nice, inviting and a perfect atmosphere for the work. I learned how different layers are built I. A terrarium and why, what plants are ideal, how to make it aesthetically pleasing but keeping in mind the functionality of the elements used. Great class!

This class was so much fun. We learnt about the history of terrariums and then how to make our very own which we were then able to bring home. A glass of prosecco and great company made for a very enjoyable evening. Emily is lovely. Very knowledgeable.
